Back in September, we delivered the best quarter in company history and in 2024 as a whole, we grew our turnover by 40%, which is a testament to the hard work, resilience, and strategic vision of our team in today’s challenging climate.

We left no stone unturned, reviewing every service we offer to ensure our pricing is competitive while delivering unrivalled value to our clients. This was a full-scale overhaul that aligned us even more closely with market demands and client expectations.
- Streamlining Through Innovation
We reduced overheads, shortened timeframes and boosted productivity. How did we do it? By investing in cutting-edge hardware and developing our own bespoke IT software tailored to both clients and financial systems. This robust infrastructure is transforming the way we work, ensuring speed, efficiency, and scalability across the board.
- Investing in Our People
Growth isn’t just about numbers; it’s about nurturing the people who make it all happen. In 2024, we doubled down on training and introduced tailored “career path plans” for every staff member. Why? Because when our team can see a bright future with us, they bring their best every single day.
- Expanding Our Team
Our greatest asset has always been our people, and 2024 was no exception. The Safety First Group family grew to a total headcount of 18 dedicated professionals. This expansion is testament to our ongoing commitment to providing top-tier services and solutions for our clients.
Among the four talented individuals who joined us last year, we’re proud to have filled these pivotal roles, each one being key to our ambitious growth plans:
- EHS Manager – Elevating workplace safety and environmental standards.
- Business Development Executive – Expanding our outreach and creating meaningful client partnerships.
- Water Hygiene Engineer – Enhancing our capabilities in Legionella risk assessments and water safety.
- Associate Occupational Hygienist – Strengthening our occupational hygiene expertise.
These new additions bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise, ensuring we remain at the forefront of industry best practices. As we enter 2025, we plan to expand the team by a further 17%, bringing in three more people to ensure we can maintain our current momentum.
